I am a native american singer, dancer and recording artist with canyon records I have recorded with many of the top southern powwow drum groups including rosehill, youngbird, bad medicine, thunderhill and omaha whitetail to name a few, in addition to having to solo round dance recordings on canyon records the latest being "no more lies" released summer of 2009 I have been nominated for a nammy award songwriter of the year from my friest round dance recording "true lives from the road and was with youngbird at the grammy awards for best native american recording. I am also a recent graduate from cal state long beach with a b.a. in sociology and american indian studies

I am a Native Filmmaker, raised in Europe (through no fault of my own) currently working with the American Indian Film Institute. I worked on many national and international programs in Broadcast and was trained by the BBC. My film, 'Coloring the Media' premiered at BAFTA (London) and at the AIFI's Film Festival in San Francisco. I have a unique story and have a million more to tell. I have just finished my screenplay, 'Ghosts of the Burning Sage' and am also Directing a doc, 'Celluloid Indians' for the American Indian Film Institute.

My great grandmother was a full blooded Shawnee. I have a picture of her in her native dress and beads. I have always felt a part of me is still kin to Native Americans and have been sympathetic to Native American causes. Since retiring from school administration and running an AM-FM broadcast interprise, I have taken to writing and music. I have written a book on Biblical History titled "Beyond Genesis", and I found myself so affected by the story of the North Carolina Cherokee ordeal of the 1800's that I felt moved to write a song about the "Trail of Tears" tragedy of the Cherokees. I also write a blog article on Creation and Evolution on the Christian Post online newspaper.

I am fist generations Peruvian American who has the good fortune to also have mixed Native American heritage through relatives in Texas and New Mexico. My mother's people Scarborough's who intermarried with tribes in Texas (unknown) and New Mexico (unknown) and came all the way to California right about statehood. My father's family is 50% Inka from Lima, Peru with strong ties to the mountain villages, Cusco, etc. A history enthusiast my entire life, once I began in production I also began exploring my heritage and getting a focus on where and when and how my family ties played a part IN history and the indigenous people's until they became part of them. I am the project developer for Magic Hair Studios in Los Angeles, CA.
